Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage

GMC backs your new vehicle with its no-deductible Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty. The entire vehicle is warranted for repairs, including parts and labor, to correct any defect in materials or workmanship, for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first (except normal maintenance). The warranty transfers automatically with vehicle ownership during the warranty period.

Optional Extended Limited Warranty

The optional Extended Limited Warranty is available at the time of vehicle purchase. It provides coverage for 5 years/60,000 miles (whichever comes first) and includes the entire vehicle for repairs, including parts and labor, to correct defects in materials or workmanship, excluding routine maintenance. Repairs use new, remanufactured, or refurbished parts, and the warranty is transferable.

Powertrain Coverage

GMC vehicles come with a no-deductible, 5-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. This coverage includes repairs due to defects in materials or workmanship for components like the engine, transmission, transfer case, and drive systems. Coverage details are outlined below:

• Engine: Covers all internal engine parts, oil pump, turbocharger, and more. Excludes items like sensors, wiring, and radiator.
• Transmission/Transaxle: Covers internal parts, case, torque converter, and actuators, excluding sensors and wiring.
• Transfer Case: Covers internal parts, case, seals, and actuators, excluding cooling lines and sensors.
• Drive Systems: Covers final-drive housings, axle shafts, propeller shafts, and actuators, excluding wheel bearings and cooling lines.

Additional Benefits

Courtesy Transportation Program: During the warranty period, alternate transportation and/or reimbursement for certain transportation expenses are available if your vehicle requires warranty repairs.

Roadside Assistance: Available for 5 years/60,000 miles to provide response, security, and convenience in case of roadside emergencies.

What is Not Covered

Damage due to accidents, misuse, alterations, insufficient maintenance, poor quality fuel, and corrosion from chemical treatments are not covered under the warranty. Please refer to your Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet for full details.

Corrosion and Rust-Through Protection

Corrosion Protection: Covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles. This warranty covers resistance to corrosion but does not require rust-inhibiting materials.

Rust-Through Protection: Covered for 6 years or 100,000 miles, covering any body sheet metal panel that rusts through.

First Maintenance Visit

Your GMC includes the first maintenance visit during the first year for 2019-2020 vehicles, and the first two visits for 2017-2018 vehicles. This includes oil change, Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection, and tire rotation.

Important Note about Alterations

Installations or alterations to the original vehicle are not covered by the General Motors New Vehicle Limited Warranty. The body or equipment installers are responsible for the warranty on any alterations or added equipment.
