Those needing more cargo space can choose the Yukon XL, which adds roughly another foot of wheelbase compared to the baseline Yukon.
The Yukon comes with three available powertrain options: 5.3L V8, 6.2L V8, or a 3.0L inline turbo diesel. Both V8 options offer excellent acceleration and the diesel option is great for those needing a little extra towing capacity. Performance & Towing Capability
The 2023 Yukon is powered by one of three capable engines. Buyers can select from a 5.3L V8 that produces 355hp, a larger 6.2L V8 that produces 420hp, or a 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel. Depending on the trim and engine chosen, the Yukon is rated with a towing capacity of up to 8,400 lbs when equipped with the Max Trailering Package. Other available trailering enhancements include the Prograde Trailering System, and the Enhanced Trailering Technology Package.

Technology Features
The new Yukon is packed full of technological goodies and features. The Yukon supports GM's hand-free Super Cruise technology which supports hands-free driving on over 200,000 miles of compatible roads in the US and Canada. Experience audiophile level sound with the available Bose 18-speaker sound system. This system even comes with speakers on the front seat headrest! The High Definition Surround Vision system helps boost situational awareness by using multiple camera feeds (up to 13 camera views!) to show a digital overhead view of all around the vehicle. The Yukon offers full support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and related Apple and Google apps. These features can be easily accessed using the 10.2 inch GMC Premium Infotainment Center. There is also a 12 inch driver information panel that displays important vehicle information such as current speed, engine temperature, fuel gauge, and so on. The available 15 inch heads-up display (HUD) can display customizable vehicle information directly in front of the driver, minimizing the need to take your eyes off the road. Last but not least, there are two 12.6 inch HD backseat media screens that offer both HDMI hookups, as well as streaming support (on selected trims) that provide a plethora of backseat entertainment options.
