With available trims in SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali models, the new 2022 GMC Yukon & Yukon XL features an independent rear suspension that enables a lower floor, for more third-row passenger space, plus a first-in-class available Four Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and available Magnetic Ride Control.                                                         The Yukon is an impressive full-size SUV that offers three rows of seating, multiple engine options, and is pleasant to drive. It is available in both a regular size, and an extended wheelbase XL version and the different trim levels allow for fine-tuning the amount of luxury desired. 

                                                        On the technology and infotainment front, the Yukon is well-equipped with GMC's latest infotainment center. Passengers can easily interface with the system through the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto software suites and the standard onboard WiFi hotspot. Optional features include navigation software and a Bose sound system. 

                                                        The Yukon comes with a host of standard safety features, although buyers will have to pay more for some of the advanced features like blindspot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-departure warning and lane-keep assist.

                                                        Q - What's new on the 2022 model year Yukon?
                                                        A - Despite the fact that the Yukon received a full refresh for the 2021 model year GMC has made several exciting upgrades on the 2022 version. The infotainment system now comes standard with a 12 inch screen, the 6.2 liter V-8 is now available on the AT4 trim, and the Denali trim now offers power-sliding center console as standard equipment. There is also a new exterior color available - Redwood Metallic. 

                                                        Q - What kind of fuel economy does the Yukon get?
                                                        A - The Yukon is a full-size SUV with a large engine and doesn't excel in this department versus smaller SUVs. The EPA ratings for the smallest gas engine are 16mpg city and 20 mpg highway. The diesel version is more fuel efficient at 21 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. 

                                                        Q - How much cargo space does the 2022 Yukon have?
                                                        A - Both the base Yukon and the extended wheelbase XL version comfortably seat 8 adults with room for more luggage. The regular Yukon comes with up to 122.9 cubic feet of storage space when the rear seats are folded down. The XL version offers 154 cubic feet of storage.
