The Terrain is GMCs crossover SUV offering. It was launched in America in 2009 and is now on its second generation. The 2022 model year marks a large refresh for the Terrain. The refresh was originally planned for the 2021 model year but was pushed back due to Covid-related economic issues. First up, the front end of the vehicle has been redone with updates to the fascia, grilles and headlights. The taillamps were also redesigned. This year debuts the new off-road themed AT4 version, as well as AT4 versions for other GMC vehicles. There are new 18-inch and 19-inch wheel designs available and three new exterior colors: Marine Metallic, Cayenne Red Metallic, and Desert Sand Metallic. The interior will also receive new trims and fabrics as well as some tech upgrades such as the available (SLT & AT4) HD Surround Vision, a new Heads-Up Display (HUD), and front and rear park assist.
